- The move to the new location is complete. As soon as the tracking room is finished with construction, LOTS of new detailed photos will be posted online! An open house is soon to come after that, with date and time to be posted.
- The new 003 rack interface has arrived, bringing with it better A/D conversion, analog path, and wordclock sync. With our Apogee ultra-low jitter Intelliclock and Apogee WydeEye cabling, coupled with our selection of class A handmade outboard preamps, compressors, mics and Apogee A/D conversion, you'd be hard pressed to find a better signal path at ANY studio.
- Long-time Metal Blade Records recording artists Six Feet Under recorded their new album, "Graveyard Classics III" at D.O.I. this year, with a worldwide release date of January 19, 2010.
- Miami-based self described "Bulldozer Core" band Consular finished mixing their 10 song album "MeLK" due out in 2009 on Abort the World Records.
- Atlanta based band Levitation is due to return to D.O.I. to finish tracking vocals and leads for their new album "Preparing the Way" in late 2009, engineered by Chaz Najjar and James Murphy and produced by James Murphy.
